Default DEAD-ON Range Finder

I first called this range finder the Dead Downwind Range Finder. That was a mistake it is called the Dead-On Range Finder. It took every bit of between 5 and 10 minutes to install it and set it up for Elk.

I can't tell you how it will work while hunting until after September 7 the when Elk Season starts. I have however tried it on my Morrell's Superduper target that compairs to the body depth of a bull elk . . . and it is right on the money.

The first time I used it I failed to transfer from the Range Finder to my sight (but I still hit the target although I can't understand how.) Lately I have added it to my mental check list that I go through with every shot but I haven't had a problem since. It is a bracketing system with fiberoptic pins that you can set up to match the pins on your sight.

It comes with a small booklet that contains the settings for Whitetail and Elk for (25"-27" draw), (27"-30" draw) and (30"-33" draw)and they indicate that more calibrations are coming soon.
