Warm Weather Hunting
I have the opportunity to introduce my 10 year old son to whitetail hunting this year. I've been looking forward to being able to do this with him, and have a great opportunity as Kansas offers an early season youth hunt from Sept. 12-20. I'm also doing it for selfish reason - it gives me another hunt and gets me out in the field much earlier than the regular season (Dec 2-13).
I'm concerned about running into very warm weather potentially. So, what tips do you have for hunting in hot weather? I've heard the deer don't tend to move much, and when they do, it's very early and late. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
