Dave I don' t think your Omega will shoot patched round balls very well with it' s fast 1:28 twist barrel.You should think about sabots.I am going to shoot mine this week end,am going to try some 220 gr. dead center,250 gr.horady SST,295 gr. powerbelts.Have some loose and pelletize Triple 7 and Pyrodex to try.I,ll let you know how I make out.If anyone else has a load that works,I' d be intrested ,to get a good starting point.
