The Acc' s will wear your shrink tube or whatever...so I don' t use it...As I said in the other thread (bodoodle is noisy) I use " hard as nails" nail polish coating...It' c cheap, easy to reapply (every few days for me during hunting season), doesn' t affect tune and works pretty well. Just brush it on let dry, brush some more on, let dry, etc.
As far as your rest goes..I have been shooting the 1000 & 3000 for quite some time. Solid rests for the $. I did the drop-away thing for over a year, and came to the conclusion that (especially with a single that has some nock travel), conventional' s are superior for consistency/accuracy because they offer more guidance/cushion for the arrow
IMO/IME anyways....
