yes the corn in the foreground did not come well, and it was really spotty - most of what was here was knee to chest high. I left a couple rows when I disked it in - most of the corn growing well in the plots is Chest to Shoulder high. I'll need to hit this spot with fertilizer once it germinates.

We tried purposely to plant the corn thin, ($175/bag!!) we wanted to get as much out of 1 bag as possible. I cannot complain - we overlapped it into soybeans knowing that the the beans would fill in the spots -

Some plots came out too thin - or were too wet for too long - but overall - We'll do well stretching out one bag over several stip plantings.





The corn got mixed in with the soybeans some - so we have the od corn plants coming up in the main Soybean plots. We planted 7 bags of soybeans!
