Default cheep hook for Northern Pike

Have you ever tried a broom stick..We use them every year and it works like nothing else.. And the best is that it is CHEEP...
Needs:::
1 Broom stick
1 box of small eyelets { wood screw eyelets }
1 Bag of 3 prong treble hooks.
& your choice of paint..{ use oils }
How To :::
Take broom stick and cut into 4 to 6 inch .. Shave the fron to about 45 degrease.. This will enable the " PLUG " to dive..Now take 1 of the eyelets and... Higher on the 45 degree will make it dive more..Now you can paint the plug what ever color you want..here we use traditional colors {ie::black & white..red & white... yellow & green..} you can experament with it.. try new combinations...once it is dry...Then on the bottomside in the middle screw in another eyelet and 1 in the oposite end of the front..these 2 you place 1 treble hook in.You are now ready to go fishing...We use these when all else fails... If you have kids it is a GREAT way to keep them busy for an afternoon...[:-][:-][:-] HAVE FUN>>>
