I bought in Win Model 70 in 2000 in 270 WSM. I think it's a great all around big game rifle for North America. It's super flat shooting. I have taken 4 deer I believe with it. The longest shot has only been about 60 -70 yds. 2 of 3 that were shot in the vitals resulted in bang flops. The other only ran about 20 yds. The two that were bang flops were shot mid way up though the lungs, but the hydroshock broke the spine resulting the in the bang flop. I have been shooting hand loads my dad has be making for me using 140 gr Horndy SST.
