This particular store had a halfway decent collection of scopes, several just over the $300 mark, one of them a relatively newcomer in the scope market made here in the US, which he said was very good. Sorry, I don't remember the name. I want a 40 power or better yet a 50 power, so I'll have to check out what he has again. Unfortunately, the store in Logansport is pretty much my shopping choice without driving all the way to Indianapolis or Valperaiso, but this is important enough to so I might just make the trip. Thanks for your suggestions and ideas. I'm depending on you guys to help me make a sensible choice. I'll go look some more and then let you know what I find.........John
