Yep! Here in Virginia, as stated, you can carry as long you have a CWP. Why do I carry? Same reason I carry any other time. Personal defense. Be it bear, racoon, coyote,............. or human. Those humans seem to be the creatures that trespass more often. Never had a bear steal a tree stand. Never had a racoon poach deer. Yep. Those humans. So much respect for the law and the personal property of others.
