None of the deer I have killed with them have heard them coming. They quickly became the best selling fixed blade head I stock for good reason.

FWIW there are a whole bunch of heads that make noise when traveling through the air. In fact if you stand about half way down range (obviously behind something arrow proof) of someone shooting a field tipped arrow you would be surprised how loud an arrow is any way. You can hear the bow release, a loud buzzing/hissing sound as the arrow passes you and then a thawap when it hits the target.
