I have used ACC' s for the last 4 years and in my experience they will wear your launcher arms just as bad.
They don' t seem to wear the spring launchers on my Bodoodle Pro-500 at all.
I believe, this is because of the shape and slickness of the launchers plus the fact that they drop down a bit when the arrow is released.
I like to use GKF rests and use their thick black synthetic launchers for hunting.
They wear also but it takes several thousand shots.
Plus, you can move the launchers inward when they have excessive wear.
The GKF synthetic launchers are great for hunting with ACC' s, imo.
They cradle and hold the arrow much better than the metal launchers.
