Now though we don’t have all of those natural limiting factors so we have to use hunters to a greater advantage to do what those once natural forces did. The problem though is that some hunters aren’t smart enough to understand how nature really works so they fight the concepts used in scientific management intended to simulate natural population controls and end up hurting the best future for our resources including the deer they are trying to protect./QUOTE]
You are the one that doesn't understand how nature really works. The max. CC of the habitat in PA is over 100 DPSM and the herd is being managed at around 13 dPSM. Hunters are doing a much better job at controlling the herd than predators could ever hope to do in the current environment.
Yea right, a hundred deer per square mile!
I’ll bet you can’t find one professional white-tail deer manager in the entire world that would support your position on that number of deer being sustained in this state for more then a short term period. In fact the habitat couldn’t support even half that many deer universally across this state for even one year if we had even the amount of snow we had last winter.
It is so obvious that you don’t have a clue what you are talking about, when it comes to deer or nature, it is hardly even worth debating you anymore. You are simply a nut case trying to promote a very misguided agenda with no concerns for the future or the damage you perpetuate.
