It should only improve. How many rounds did you fire? It takes about 100-200 rounds to smooth out any tooling marks left in the bore. Once that' s done, and it is cleaned of all the copper fouling (which should be done while you are shooting it) it may shoot much better than 1" . Also, take the time now to check all the screws and make sure they are tight still. It sometimes takes 50-100 rounds for them to seat in properly so you don' t have to constantly check them.
