Default RE: How do you string a recurve?

First off you need to determine if the string is the proper length....if your bow is a recurve, as you said, and you can't find any writing to indicate proper amo string length, then you'll have to measure....start at the tip of your upper limb, follow the curve and along the riser to the bottom limb around it's curve and to the tip ...this measurement will be the proper amo string length... place the large loop of the string over the upper limb and slide it as far down the limb as possible...now take the small loop and slide it over the notch on the lower limb...with the "tips" of the limbs facing up...hold the riser ( the part with the grip for your hand on it) in your right hand and place your left hand on the string loop of the upper limb...make sure the bottom loop is in the lower limb notch... now, pull up on the riser with your right hand while using your left hand to to slide the loop on the upper limb forward and into the notch.... when you're done check both the upper and lower limbs to be sure the string is firmly in the notch's before firing...good luck!

How many points did he have????
