i had to shove a small piece of leather up in the top cup for my bob lee..never bothered to pull it out for my longbows. I would go bigger then smaller but that is my opinion as its easy to fill it up, just tag a rag, cloth or hunk o leather to get it to fit if the cup is too big. If its too small you'll be waiting for another one or stringing without one!
