A harrow would greatly help. The problem you will have will be making the ground soft and able to be worked easier which a disk does nicely after the sod has been removed. If you have a truck you can try dragging an old box spring weighted to drag up the surface of the ground after you broadcast the seed. But make sure the ground is soft and able to be penetrated before seeding. By dragging a harrow or box spring you will be turning the soil over the seed but only to a shallow depth which will be sufficient. The soybeans I posted a picture of under.....

.....were broadcast and then covered with a harrow. Alot of the seeds were still exposed but grew just as well as those that were covered. My main concern when harrowing was trying to cover the seed so the turkeys didn't come along and eat them before they sprouted.
Thanks for the info! I use a push tiller to turn the soil. My plot is only about a 1/4 acre. It takes a while but I don't have any other choice. I think I'll try dragging something over the plot.
