I' d put the Monarch up against any scope that costs up to $500.00. I can' t afford to use those high dollar European scopes, so I can' t judge it against them.

I' ve had Monarchs, and one Vari-X III Leupold (just had to try one). I wasn' t impressed with the Leupold. The Nikons were every bit the scope, but didn' t cost near as much.
