Default Noob question

Im realitive new to bowhunting started shooting a bow for the first time, last summer,I managed to harvest my first deer this past season with it and have gotten pretty good at shooting it.But the other day I was shooting it and I shot an arrow and went to hook my release on the loop on the string and it had come untied or undone. What does it take to have the loop retied? Is this going to affect how my bow shoots when I get a new loop put on it?
