Never had one, but I like the look of this base that EABCO sells.
I would have to turn it around though. Maximum mounting flexibility.
I have used one of these bases. And it is a decent base. They even make a peep sight that fits right on the base. The only problem I have with the base is that it is aluminum. And I prefer a steel base. Also the base is pretty expensive, but it works. Tom.
