Default Revote?? Crossbows In PA

Find it interesting that they are going to propose a two week crossbow season (Oct 3 - Oct 17) instead of a full season. The meeting notes for the upcoming agenda on the PGC website claimthat with the changein board members, the view has changed. What about the people who went out and bought a new $500 crossbow for this upcoming season??I would be furious!!!

On another note, the hunting digest claims that you can't hunt over bait during any hunting seasons. It says that the bait must be removed 30 days before hunting. Does anyone know exactly how far from the bait you need to be if you dont remove it?My neighbor has a deer feeder in his yard andI hunt about 100 yards away on my own property. The digest doesnt specify how far you need to be. I have no problem moving even further away, but if I dont need to move from my hunting spot, I really dont want to. Plus, I only have so much property of my own that I can hunt. I can honestly say that I am not using his feeder to aid my hunt (especially since Iam hunting over an agriculturalcorn field), but I know the game commission can be pretty picky. Any information would be useful.
