Definitely a Springfield. Nice custom gun!

I also would hesitate to sell unless you can get decent money for it. In the last 30 years, the climate of value has changed so much to elevate the value of military guns, so making a custom like that is rarely done anymore. I had a nice Springfield in the early '70s with a fiddleback maple stock. That gun shot very well. I like the cool bolt handle on yours. I used to work at a gun shop and do some stock work and light gunsmithing back in the day. Now, I am really out of the loop on gun values.
