Could also be your natural aiming point. I think each of us has a " natural aiming point" at which we more naturally point and shoot the arrow. I know in my case it' s 45yrds. My scores at that distance are disproportionately higher than they are at any other distance. Back me up to 30-35yrds and I disintegrate. But move me out to 45yrds, and I can drill them almost without thinking. It' s pretty helpful when shooting NFAA field/hunter rounds, because they' re centered around 47rds. But for 3D it stinks, because the longest shot in my class is 25yrds.
