I am puzzled... Why would you want to change something that is working for you? earlier you stated that nothing is biting as it is getting to hot down there. So why change a method that happens to get them biting again even if it is slow fishing? Slow fishing can sometimes produce the big ones like you want to catch. Those big ones normally eat big bait and then just lay around. That is what I have found out anyways and sometimes they may not bite again for almost a month. But we have colder water here so they can become less active easier maybe..
