I'm thinking that too..when the skeeters start hitting the water..small fish go for them..and big fish go for the small fish.[8D]
I appreciate all the replies..and yes...dragging a Carolina Rig in deep is a very good bet indeed.which is probably the best thing for day time fishing
HOWEVER; for these 100 degree days..I think when the truck gets out of the shop..I'll be fishing the last hour of the day..my wife suggested this last month.
I should have listened..That drop of 10 degrees should activate the fish as well...Horny Toad might even work..but I'd bet a slow rubber worm would be best.
