Silent, Matt' s right. I' ve been, along with my hunting partner, filming hunts for years. I' ve researched the bow mounted camera devices and they are fine for everything but the shot. The image jumps and you' ll never get the shot on film, plus, it' s something else to distract you from making the shot.

My professional opinion is to stay away from them unless you simply want to film the deer and not the shot. A tree mounted holder works great and depending on your setups, will get all the footage you need. I' d recommend a camera with the view finder flip out so you can watch it as you need to and still hold the bow..etc.

My best advice, find a hunting partner who shares your passion for the hunt and the footage as I have. We share a tree and we are not jealous if the other takes an animal of a lifetime..... It' s all about the hunt, not the kill but the footage is fantastic to relive later.
