Its natural to think a bow mounted camera is gonna be pretty cool........and it probably is until the moment that you release an arrow, your bow recoils, vibrates etc. and you drop your bow arm to watch the deer run.
I can' t imagine the footage to be very still.......even before the shot with the adreneline flowing like it does. you' d have to be a serious ice cube to get any steady footage!
I think a better solution would be one of those tree mounted ones that you could keep near you and swing into the area of the shot before you shoot. Might be touchier to get it just right, but the footage will HAVE TO be better than off the end of the bow.
Even better would be abuddy running that set-up from another stand. I think if bow mounted cameras were anything worth trying you' d see the major video guys like Drury, Primos etc using them.
