So guys i'm lookin at gettin a really sweet flat shooting gun. i figured a 264 would be great i wanted to build it myself and so on. i was going to buy a lothar wother barrel and savage perction action w/ accu trigger and get a really nice laminate stock w/ thumhole. then my cousin told me that a 308 would do just fine and not to build it cuse it would cost to much. he said ammo is so hard to find and they are a really loud gun andto just get the 308. so iwas lookin and a found a savage accustock and accu trigger 308 for $599. so now i ask you guyswhat should i do. 1 should i risk building the 264 only to figure out a 308 will performjust as good as it and it would be cheaper to shoot. 2 will the 308 even compair to the 264 downrange. 3 and i was lookin at the browning x and a bolts. are they worth price over 1000. and last what brand gun do you recomend forsuperior accurace and dependability.
