Has anyone been involved (participated) in any of the Illinois youth deer hunts recently? (In any of the 26 counties where they take place). Applications are due Aug 14th and I' m wondering because it was a GREAT program when I went in Pike County 8 years ago with lots of education and comradory for the kids. Kinda wondering if there is the full blown program like we experienced in Pike County?

Need to know as much as possible as quick as possible as my buddy and I are very soon to be registering our boys.

If anyone is wondering what the program is about (or should I say used to be about-as I haven' t been on one for awhile) let me know and I' ll post more details later today, as I don' t have time right now.
