Default RE: How Does Barometric Pressure Effect Fishing

Thats pretty much how it goes Chuck. I try and go jsut before a front comes in and during the first part of it coming in, as it provides the best fishing. What I was talking about in your other thread is that the pressure on the east coast was dropping early yesterday morning, and then bottomed out and began rising around 9-10 AM due to high pressure building in behind of the storm. The bite was shutoff until it stabled back out, most of my info only showed a .05 drop and rise in the pressure yeterday. I believe that the pressure plays more into a fish bite than the solunar tables, because they will bite when the pressure drops regardless of the moon, at least in my experiences.
