My vote is for either of the standard magnums;the 7mm Remington mag or a 300-Winchester magnum.
IMHO TheWSM's just do not bring enough improvement to the table to justify the added cost of the WSM ammo.
In actuallity the WSM's does not cost any different then the standard magnums in my area.
Last time I looked a factory ammo was about one month ago. I was looking for Federal Premium 300-win mag ammo. The 300-WSM was $12.00 per box higher than the 300-win mag, both were loaded with Nosler bullets. The 300-WSM could have been this years ammo and the 300-win mag could have been last years ammo??? Thiscould explain the higher price?
