I don't waste my time scouting in the early summer. Everthing changes in the fall. Acorns start falling, apples ripen, corn stalks are full of corn, farmers cut corn, the first hint of the rut begins.

Things are totally different in the fall and deer's patterns change with it.

The racks aren't as nice but heck, the venison tastes the same.
