Default RE: Bluebird 2

Gotta love the antler porn. I know what BB is saying about hunting the same areas though for a long time. i don't scout in June either unless I'm prospecting for new properties to hunt. The deer definitely change their patterns many times during summer as ag food sources mature, etc and other than scratching an itch to look for deer I can't say that it has been a productive time to scout for me. having hunted many of the same places for years I have already pinpointed their travel routes, etc esp for rut hunting, repeat scrape corridors and rub lines in funnel areas. I don't mess with bedding areas, too risky,so that doesn't matter that much to me, either. And of course, since I have an ethical disagreement with food plot hunting I'm not doing that either. Not to mention with a wife and four kids I have plenty competing for my time in the summer that I'm just lucky enough to get my time to hunt in the fall. Spending all summer scouting would probably spell the end of my marriage! LOL
