And even after all of this is rehashedover and over again, itstill boils down to whether or not you feel confident and safe shooting a CVA rifle or not. If you feel they are inferior I strongly suggest you choose a brand you are confident in. If you feel they are safe, then you have a different brand to consider when you purchase a rifle. I own a CVA Staghorn Magnum, and technically the Remington Genesis is from the same factory I think. I shoot them, so I guess I am confident in them. All of them have had magnum loads shot through them.
I also own several traditional rifles owned by CVA and Traditions. They all shoot well.
