What method do you use to dispatch them??? I've killed my share but have never taken them from pond to plate myself (always had an old uncle I gave them to). He insisted that hitting them in the nose with a hammer caused the least amount muscle-twitching/skinning-resistance. Of course he never got those kind from me...as I preferred a.22at a much safer distance
