What I enjoy is going to our cabin up in NC PA. Its a little 15x30' cabin with no running water, no elec. Sort of a hard walled tent. But we have a propane heater and stove and lanterns to provide all the comforts of home.
I got me a good deal on a 4000 watt generator at Cabelas earlier this year so I may just take it up and run it a couple hours in the evening with some of them new fangled electric clamp lights and take my 13" TV w/DVD player and watch some good old John Wayne or Clint Eastwood westerns or maybe even some Tom Selleck westerns of a few others I have.
And if any of you guys want to swap hunts or whatever, let me know. We usually go up the cabin for the Mon - Wed of Thanksgiving week for black bear and sometimes the following week for a couple days for antlered deer.
And if the weather (snow) isn't too bad, we spend some time between Christmas and New Year's for the late season muzzleloader (flintlock and open sights only).
