RE: fertilizer & soy beans?
If you can get bagged 9-23-30 (popular corn starter fertilizer blend) at a local co-op, 100-200 lbs/a would be a good guess without a soil test. 10-10-10 is mostly filler, 13-13-13 is not much better. Those fertility meters are questionable. I agree with M.Magis.
