You nailed it. I also have a Viper SS and it goes out 4-5 times a year. If Iknow the potential's for metobe on stand a long time (over 6 hours) and I'm hunting close to home....I'll take the Summit. I've got a couple spots that I have to go into early (couple hours before first light) and I take the Summit then (and SNOOZE).
