Hey I am new here but felt I should respond to this one. My brother just bought a thing called a Deadly Quiet. It goes on the cable guard and rests against the bow string. It works very well. I own a Mathews LX with string surpressors, and his bow with this Deadly Quiet on it is quieter than my bow. I think it is great because it doesn' t slow the string down, works very well and is very cheap to buy. Well I hope I helped a little. Look forward to reading more.
