RE: Broadheads
Personally, Until you have a little more experience with a bow and learn all the set up and tuning tricks I would stay away from a mechanical broad head as if you do not keep up on them they can fail to open or at least not fully open and then you have a wounded animal out there, bow hunting takes and requires more from a hunter than what it does to go out and shoot a rifle. Practice, practice, practice!!! As OHbohunter said it can depend on what bow you are shooting, arrow weight and so on!
