To be honest, my JRT does a fine job at scaring away the birds and squirrles. He almost got a Steller Jay once. I have relocated the bird feeder so im not tempted to eradicate the flying pests. Now, the poopwont benext to our BBQ and patio furniture. No more children for me. Im too old and too selfish nowadays. As far as practicing goes, I dont think it can get any less frequent than it already is. I wonder if I could get the wife to (hold the bird feeder in the old location) .
