I use the knapped english flints that Track of the wolf sells. They can be rechipped and used untill there is almost no flint protruding from the cock. Some of them will last 75 -100 shots. During our tourniments we typically shoot 30 shots and it is not unusual to shoot the entire time without having to rechip the flint. I got away from manufactured flints years ago.
