I have a nice cushy pachmayr on my weatherby....

bought a sims for my abolt...haven't tested it yet, but anythign thick and squishy should do a better job than a thin solid rubber pad...

and i know my .300 win mag abolt with the thin rubber pad kicked harder than my .340wby with the big soft pad...so I'm quite certain they work.
