Default RE: Any luck with BioMaXX or Winter Greens?

I grow corn and soybeans, which is what BioMaxx is, just mixed together. And they both make a hard to beat late season plot. The last time i checked, the biomaxx was $150 for 45lbs, and that plants 1 acre. A better option would be to check into conservation seed. It is sold for $6 to 10 dollars a bag (sometimes free!) and a bag of that plants 2.5 acres. Quail Unlimited, NWTF, Pheasants Forever and a few other places has that seed available. You could save money on seed and have some left for fertilizer, which is something your going to need if you grow those, especially corn.

The winter greens is a mix of brassicas, that again is way over priced. Something like $100 bucks for 12lbs. of seed which plants 2 acres. You can find similar, if not identical seeds at your local co-op/feed store and even online for $30-36 dollars for 12lbs.
