Went out to check my plots yesterday and it was a beautiful day so I snapped some pictures of the micro-plots I planted this year...I don't have any sort of heavy equipment so small food plots is really all I can do....here they are...


This one here is planted with a Legume Mix, Alfalfa, 4 types of Clover, on the ends it is planted with Corn, Sunflowers and Sorghum...You can see the middle of the Clover came up strong and starting to get a pretty strong root system, I replanted some areas that needed. You can just make out the sprouts of the Corn, Sunflowers and Sorghum.


One of the surviving Sunflowers that survived the early browsing...Deer were nipping them off as soon as the left the ground


This plot here is planted completely with the Clover mix, it cam up pretty thick, I've recently sown in some Secret Spot Mix in the bare areas.






For someone who is just starting to plot, I'm pretty happy with the way things are shaping up...
