Schoolcraft - being a southpaw is a lot better now than it was 40 years ago. Back then our only choice was either a Remington or Savage (or Weatherby Mark V for those who could afford one). And the calibers were .270, 30-06 and 7mm Rem mag. That was about it. The Savage you could get in .243 or .308. Today you have a lot more to choose from. And if you can't find the caliber you are looking for, you can always go the custom route. Remington and Savage have custom shops too. Adn if you have more $ you can go with Dakota or Cooper.
But using a RH bolt should pose no problems. A good deal of us older lefties can cycle a RH bolt pretty quick. Give a LH bolt to a righty and watch them fumble with it. Seems us lefties are quicker to 'adapt'.
