RE: 7MM Rem Mag Ammo
About all I am doing is echoing what others have already posted. Any of the factory loads using any of the many different controlled expasion bullets will do the job. The 7 mm Rem. Mag. is a fine choice for a huting rifle. Not my favorite ... but.
Truth is that every rifle will "like" a certain load better than any other load. The proof is in the consistency of tight groups.I worked up a load for a 6.5x55 Se I have. Some of what I worked up grouped as poorly as almost 3 MOA. The "sweet" combo groups under 1 MOA. That is not uncommon.
You stated that the Rem. CoreLokt ammo that you have groups well and you have had good results on game, including moose. Based upon that info, I see no reason to change. Take a look at the Lot # of the ammo as another mentioned. It should be printed on the box. If you can locate more ammmo in this same Lot#, then the odds are that the loading will be almost identical and the ammo will group more or less the same round to round.
