To be sure, I will be praying for your dad. One thing to look at down the road is what caused the stroke in the first place. My dad had a couple of smaller strokes and they didn't go after the cause. Then he had the big one and he never fully recovered. So it's important to find out what is causing them in the first place and treat that.
