Default RE: Arrow Wrapping directions

I have been using the bohning pro jig for less than two years. It's great, but it's plastic and it wears. For 30 bucks it's not bad.

If I had known that I would come to love fletching arrows, I would have spent the money on a bitzenburger. I soon will.

I also want to check out the Helix by Bohning as I only fletch 2 inch vanes any more. (blazers and max hunters)

As for the wraps, I use www.onestringer.com but you can get wraps just about anywhere. Rick James on here has a great instructional video that he put together on installing wraps. I hope he sees this and posts it. I searched for it and couldn't find it. I think it was on another site that is down right now. If he doesn't, pm him, he is a great guy and will gladly send you the link.

Glue -I have tried them all, fast set, quick set gel, epoxy. Save yourself some time and money. Just get Bohning's Fletch Tite Platinum. Strong and durable for a good price.

Vanes- that's up to you check out a bunch and go with one. If you don't like them, then you can strip em and fletch up some others. That's the beauty of this.

You also may want and arrow stripper some acetone and some fine grit sandpaper.

Feel free to pm me with more questions. Good luck. I thoroughly enjoy fletching my own arrows.[8D]
