The bolts of fabric at stores like WalMart and JoAnn's have a label on the end of the bolts that give the composition of the fabric.
Yes, that is exactly what they say... cause I bought some of that also. But, as both descriptions from Track and RMC say "it is 100% cotton" but I do not think it is natural cotton it seems to be a man made cotton. Like Nubak Leather is leather but it is man made. I have also tried shooting that JoAnn's ticking) and it does the same thing with T7 - you are really lucky if you can find any residue after shooting. I am quite sure that it would hold up to BP or the Pyro's as they do not generate as much heat.

Just took some JoAnn's out on the back porch and lit it on fire. It started burning extremly well, in fact it might make a good fire starter, then when I blew it out - it kept burning. It sure seems it has something synthetic in it.

I honestly do not know other than cotton patches survive and pillow ticking does not for my situation.
