I shot Recurves then Compounds for years with fingers. On the compounds I shot a cushion plunger with a Golden Key 2000 I believe it was called?
IMHO if you shoot a compound I think you would be much better off learning to shoot it with a release properly. After a year you would be glad you went this route.
Modern Bows are becoming increasingly hard to shoot with fingers. 2 things that are not good for shooting fingers is low holding weight, and short A to A because of the finger pinch.
